Making Conversations is a podcast from silversmith Robyn Galway and ceramicist Jemma Millen - both practicing makers and graduates from the applied art department of Ulster University, who both share a love of making and craft.
For our second series, we are delighted to share how we have received funding from the Arts Council of Northern Ireland, as part of their Emergency Artist Fund. This funding means we can bring you 10 new maker conversations for our next series. We are so excited to bring you this little glimpse into makers lives within/from NI. Our aim for this podcast is to connect with local makers and quite simply, make conversations. We hope our episodes will give a wonderful but truthful insight into the reality of being a maker.
Join us on our journey of making conversations with local makers, with our second series launching 18 June 2020 with fresh ceramics Ulster University Graduate Zara McLaughlin of Zara Ceramics.
Listen again to episodes from our first series of Making Conversations Podcast, featuring a bonus episode from the 2019 Ulster University degree show recorded in June 2019 and five maker conversations released every Thursday in August 2019 as part of August Craft Month 2019.
Click below on each episode for further information about our guests for the first and second series. Our second series episode schedule is fortnightly from 18 June 2020.
